  • Practical Skills

An in-house academy keeping every crew current on food safety and service.

What we teach

Six programmes, built around the work your teams do.

Every module is adapted to your site, your menus and your equipment before a single session is booked.

Catering & Culinary Skills

Preparation, portioning, batch cooking and presentation taught on live service, so standards hold when the queue builds.

Food Safety & Hygiene

Temperature control, storage, allergen handling and record keeping — the habits inspectors look for, made routine.

Hospitality & Guest Service

Front desk, housekeeping and guest relations training that turns polite staff into genuinely confident hosts.

Facility Management Skills

Cleaning method, planned maintenance routines and help-desk discipline for teams responsible for buildings.

Health, Safety & Environment

Risk awareness, permits, emergency response and practical drills run in the environment people work in.

Supervisor Development

Rota planning, briefing, coaching and difficult conversations — the skills that keep a team steady without you.

How we teach

Four rules behind every programme.

Training only counts when behaviour changes on the floor. These are the standards we hold ourselves to.

  • 01

    Taught where the work happens

Learning on your equipment, in your kitchen or on your site, not on a slide about somebody else's.

  • 02

    Short sessions, full coverage

Modules sized to fit a shift and repeated across the rota so every person is reached, nights included.

  • 03

    Assessed, not attended

Completion means demonstrated competence, recorded per person and signed off — never a signature on a register.

  • 04

    Checked again later

We return weeks after delivery to see whether the habit held, and re-run what did not stick at no extra cost.

How we start

From skills gap to measured improvement.

01

Skills gap review

We look at audit findings, incidents and complaints to see what training will actually change.

02

Programme built

Modules, session lengths and a rota-aware schedule agreed with your managers.

03

Delivery & assessment

Hands-on sessions across every shift, with practical assessment and certificates issued.

04

Follow-up check

A floor review weeks later, a written record per person, and refreshers where needed.

Questions

What clients ask us first.

Tell us how many people, on which shifts and what needs to improve — we will come back with a schedule and a fixed fee.

Do you train on our site or at a training centre?
Both. Most clients prefer on-site delivery so people learn on the equipment they actually use, but we also run scheduled sessions away from the workplace when a site cannot release everyone at once.
How do you handle shift patterns?
Sessions are built around your rota — short modules repeated across shifts, including nights, so no one is left out and no service is interrupted.
Is anything certified?
Food safety, HSE and first-aid modules are delivered against recognised standards with certificates issued on assessment. Skills modules carry an internal competency record you keep on file.
How do you prove the training worked?
We baseline before, assess at the end and return for a floor check weeks later. You get a simple record per person and a summary of what changed in audit scores and incident numbers.

Proof

“They trained every shift, including nights, then came back a month later to check. Our audit score moved and it has stayed there.”
